Inspiring Minds will empower your students to make informed decisions about their education and employment trajectories while providing spaces where they can share their ideas with each other and have their voices heard. Sign up now.
The course will build students’ epistemic insight, which refers to students’ ability to think across their subjects and beyond, to ask good questions and to make good use of what is already known. It’s the kind of inquisitiveness and clued-up thinking that universities and employers increasingly look for. All sessions have direct real-world links back to the curriculum and these are detailed below. Through the CREST award they will have the opportunity to design and create solutions to genuine questions that touch on the nature of human uniqueness and, link to their interests.
The students’ solutions to these problems will be displayed at a final showcase exhibition called “Inspired to Enquire” where they will be able to explain their results to parents/carers, academic experts, potential employers and their peers. This is an invaluable opportunity for your students to be empowered to ask the big questions of their school journey, progression to university/employment and build resilience through a greater understanding of themselves.
